HashiMotto Terms of Service
Last updated / Effective date: July 6, 2026
Last updated / Effective date: July 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms," also referred to as our Terms and Conditions) are a legal agreement between you and Immunomy, Inc. ("Immunomy," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the HashiMotto mobile application, the website at hashimotto.app, and related services (together, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
IMPORTANT — TWO THINGS TO KNOW UP FRONT
>
1. HashiMotto is not a medical provider. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. See Section 3. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number).
>
2. These Terms include a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver (Section 16) that affect how disputes are resolved. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days. Please read Section 16.
1. Eligibility and who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- The Service is offered for use in the United States only. You represent that you are accessing it from the U.S.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- If you use the Service on behalf of someone else, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
2. The Service
HashiMotto is a wellness companion for people living with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and related thyroid conditions. It helps you track symptoms, labs, medications, meals, movement, and mood; connect wearables; access breathing and movement content (Flow Space); participate in a community (HashiHub); follow gentle progress features; generate a Doctor Visit Summary; and interact with HashiDoc, our AI companion. Certain features require a paid subscription (Section 8). Some features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
3. Not medical advice; no professional relationship; emergencies
This Section is fundamental to your use of the Service.
- General wellness and educational purpose. The Service — including HashiDoc, dashboards, insights, meal suggestions, content, and community — is provided for general wellness, informational, and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- No diagnosis, dosing, or prescribing. HashiMotto and HashiDoc do not diagnose conditions, do not recommend or adjust medication or dosages, and do not prescribe. Nothing in the Service should be interpreted as doing so.
- No doctor–patient relationship with Immunomy. Using the Service does not create a physician–patient or other licensed-provider relationship between you and Immunomy. (Telehealth features are provided by OpenLoop and independent providers — see Section 5.)
- Always consult your clinician. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions about your health, medications, labs, diet, or treatment, and before making any changes. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or received through the Service.
- You are responsible for your decisions. Any action you take based on the Service is at your own risk. Outputs — including AI outputs and community content — may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your situation.
- Emergencies. The Service is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, are in crisis, or may harm yourself or others, call 911 or your local emergency number, or contact a crisis line (in the U.S., call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Do not rely on the Service for urgent needs.
- No guaranteed outcomes. We do not promise any particular health result. Individual results vary.
4. HashiDoc and AI features
HashiDoc uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized, educational information based on the data you provide and our research library.
- AI can be wrong. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, and may not fit your circumstances. Do not rely on HashiDoc as a sole source of information or in place of professional judgment.
- Educational only; the limits in Section 3 apply in full to HashiDoc.
- Your inputs. You are responsible for the information you provide to HashiDoc. Do not input information you are not permitted to share. How your data is processed (including via Amazon Bedrock, within our AWS environment, and not used to train third-party models) is described in our Privacy Policy.
- No reliance for emergencies. HashiDoc is not for emergencies (Section 3).
5. Telehealth services (provided by OpenLoop)
The Service may offer access to telehealth — engagement with licensed practitioners (which may include dietitians, nutritionists, endocrinologists, functional-medicine practitioners, and immunologists).
- Provided by OpenLoop, not Immunomy. Telehealth services are provided by OpenLoop Health, Inc. and its independent, licensed providers, not by Immunomy. Immunomy does not practice medicine, does not employ the providers, and is not responsible for the clinical care you receive.
- Separate terms and consent. Your use of telehealth is subject to OpenLoop's terms, consents, and privacy practices, which you must review and accept with OpenLoop/the provider. The provider–patient relationship (if any) is between you and the provider.
- Availability and licensure. Availability depends on your location and provider licensure. We make no guarantee that any particular service or provider is available to you.
- Not emergency care. Telehealth is not for emergencies (Section 3).
6. Your account
- Registration and security. Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at legal@immunomy.com of any unauthorized use.
- Accuracy. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. The usefulness of the Service depends on the accuracy of what you enter.
- One account. Do not share your account or create accounts for others without authorization.
7. Connected devices and third-party integrations
You may connect third-party services (e.g., Apple Health, Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, Google Fit, Whoop, CGM). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their accuracy, or their availability, and we may add, change, or discontinue integrations. Data provided through integrations may be inaccurate or delayed and should not be relied upon for medical decisions.
8. Subscriptions, billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation
Plans. HashiMotto offers a free tier (Freemium) and paid plans — currently Foundation and Connected — available on monthly or annual billing. Current features and prices are shown in the app and on our website and may change (see below). Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Payment processor. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method. We do not store your full card number; card data is handled by Stripe under its own terms. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
Automatic renewal — please read. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method for each renewal period. We (or Stripe) will charge the applicable fee at the start of each renewal period.
How to cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account/profile settings in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then.
Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once the corresponding subscription period has been provisioned/begun, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused features, or downgrades. Cancelling ends future billing but does not refund amounts already charged. Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have.
No free trials for premium features. Unless we expressly offer one, paid features are not provided on a free-trial basis.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices or the contents of a plan. For recurring subscriptions, we will give you advance notice of a price increase and, where required, the opportunity to accept it before it applies to your next renewal. If you don't agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Any founding-member or promotional pricing applies only on the terms stated when offered.
Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, or similar taxes.
Referral/promotional credits (e.g., "invite friends who go paid") are subject to their stated terms, have no cash value, and may be modified or discontinued.
Free tier. The free tier is provided "as available" and may be changed or discontinued; where a feature is described as "free," we will honor that description in good faith but reserve the right to modify the Service as set out in Section 13.
(If you purchase a subscription through an app store, that purchase — including billing, renewal, and cancellation — is handled by the app store under its terms; see Section 18.)
9. HashiHub — community and user content
HashiHub lets you post, reply, react, and connect with others. To keep it safe and useful:
Community rules.
- Share experience, not prescriptions. You may share your own experiences and information, but you must not provide medical advice, diagnose others, or tell others to start, stop, or change medications or dosages.
- No harmful, illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringing content; no spam, scams, or promotion of unproven "cures"; no doxxing or sharing others' private or health information without permission.
- Label honestly. Where the Service asks you to tag content (e.g., personal story vs. research), do so honestly.
- Be kind. Hard days are welcome; cruelty is not.
Moderation. We may (but are not obligated to) review, moderate, remove, or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, to enforce these Terms or protect users. Community content is user-generated, is not vetted or endorsed by Immunomy, and is not medical advice (Section 3).
Your content and license. You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Immunomy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service and as permitted by our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for (i) content others have re-shared or retained, and (ii) reasonable retention in backups or as required by law.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it without obligation to you.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization, or interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or use bots to harvest data, except as permitted by law and not waivable by contract;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or infringe others' rights;
- upload malware or engage in any activity that harms users or the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission; or
- use outputs of the Service to build a competing product or to train a competing model.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, content we provide, and the HashiMotto and Immunomy names and logos, is owned by Immunomy or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
12. Affiliate links and third-party offers (disclosure)
The Service may include affiliate links and third-party offers (for example, lab tests, supplements, groceries, or devices). Immunomy may earn a commission or other compensation if you purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. These are material connections disclosed to you here and, where appropriate, in context. An affiliate relationship does not mean we endorse a product as suitable for you, and it is not medical advice (Section 3). Your dealings with any third-party merchant are solely between you and the merchant, governed by their terms and privacy policy. We do not share your personal information with these merchants (see Privacy Policy, Section 16).
13. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including features and plan contents) at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that adversely affect paid features. We are not liable to you or any third party for modifying, suspending, or discontinuing the Service, subject to your rights regarding paid subscriptions in Section 8.
14. Disclaimers of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or accurate; that AI outputs or content will be correct or suitable; or that data from integrations will be accurate or timely. No advice or information obtained from the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated here. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- No indirect damages. Immunomy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility.
- Liability cap. Immunomy's total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Immunomy for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
- Health decisions. Without limiting Section 3, Immunomy is not liable for decisions you make about your health, medications, diet, or treatment, or for the acts or omissions of any healthcare provider or of OpenLoop.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Dispute resolution — arbitration agreement and class-action waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL. IT REQUIRES INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND WAIVES CLASS ACTIONS. YOU MAY OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS.
- Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration, you agree to contact us at legal@immunomy.com and give us 60 days to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved this way.
- Binding individual arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and Immunomy agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except as provided below. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.
- Class-action and jury-trial waiver. You and Immunomy agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You and Immunomy waive any right to a jury trial.
- Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and (b) seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for intellectual-property infringement or unauthorized access/misuse of the Service.
- Location and costs. Arbitration will be conducted in Wilmington, Delaware or another mutually agreed location, or by videoconference where available. The AAA rules govern fees; we will pay or reimburse filing/administrative/arbitrator fees to the extent required by those rules or applicable law.
- Mass/coordinated filings. If 25 or more similar demands are asserted by or with the assistance of the same or coordinated counsel, the parties agree the demands will be administered under any applicable AAA mass-arbitration or multiple-case procedures, and related fee schedules, and may be batched for efficiency.
- 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@immunomy.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
- Severability / "blowup." If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court; the rest of this Section survives.
- Survival. This Section survives termination of these Terms and your account.
17. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 16, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
18. App stores (if applicable)
If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms, and the following apply:
- These Terms are between you and Immunomy, not the app store. The app store is not responsible for the Service or its support.
- Apple: you acknowledge Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement minimum terms apply; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; and, to the extent required, Apple's product-warranty and claims provisions apply.
- Purchases through a store (in-app purchases) are billed by the store, and renewals, cancellations, and refunds for those purchases are handled through the store under its policies — not through Stripe.
- You represent you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo and are not on a U.S. restricted-parties list.
19. Termination and suspension
- By you: you may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Section 8 governs paid subscriptions).
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. We may also discontinue the Service as set out in Section 13.
- Effect: on termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 3–5, 9–12, and 14–20) survive.
20. General
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., in-app or by email) and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Immunomy about the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them (e.g., in a merger or sale of assets).
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
- Notices. We may provide notices by in-app message, email, or posting. Legal notices to us go to legal@immunomy.com and the address below.
- Relationship. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
